-------------------------------

Friday when I was walking along the bike trail after work I saw the blue heron for the first time this year fly over me and into the pond.  It was flurrying and the pre dusk light was really beautiful to me. I hadn't seen the heron since September.

Saturday driving on rt. 91 to Greenfield I saw a bald eagle being chased off by crows. Things were fast so it was hard to tell what was going on.

Sunday on rt. 5 I saw a hawk eating something off of the side of the road.

The installation that Get Up, Get Down had made is coming down this Thursday evening.  If you are around and haven't seen it please do.  The work revolves around the shoe.  We started by deconstructing the physical object and then worked our way through concepts of what shoes mean fashion/function.  More concise images of the work can be found here.

Denzel Washington watched hours and hours of videos of drunk people doing daily things on youtube to prepare for his role as a pilot.

I learnt this week that there is only one space after periods. I am embarrassed. I didn't realize.  And when looking it up on the internet there are very heated arguments.

Thursday Night is the opening of the installation that Alicia Renadette, Katie Richardson and myself have been working on with the youth of "Get Up, Get Down". Come by and sit inside our sneaker planetarium.

"Amherst youth from Get Up Get Down have been working hard in collaboration with local artists to create an installation that considers, dissects and reconstructs the shoe."
